If you know anything about college basketball, you know that the UNC Tar Heels have some of the most passionate fans in the game. That’s why the Tar Hoops iPhone app was a no-brainer.
We created this app several years ago and immediately knew we had a hit on our hands. There was no other app for UNC Tar Heel fans to get team news, schedules and scores all in one place.
With over 40,000 downloads and lots of great reviews under our belt, we were inspired to create a similar app for other colleges. In 2011, we picked another popular (and passionate) North Carolina college and created Pack Hoops for our NCSU friends.
